Last Sunday a coalition of antiwar activists held a rally in DC to protest the US war machine.  Especially noteworthy was former congresswoman’s Tulsi Gabbard’s remarks at the 2 hour, 47 minute mark.  On the issue of war and peace, Tulsi is head and shoulders above any member of Congress.  She is one of my choices to be on the 2024 presidential ticket.  Tulsi would have to run as an Independent now that she left the Democratic Party, and the GOP would never nominate a critic of the military-industrial complex. 
 

Tulsi was followed by Dr. Ron Paul who was the antiwar presidential candidate in 2008 and 2012.  I had the honor of being Ron’s New Jersey surrogate during the 2008 GOP primary.   Throughout the primary I presented Ron’s views on war and peace, the Federal Reserve, and the welfare-warfare state at numerous forums.  By the time the New Jersey primary was held in June, Sen. McCain had locked up the nomination.  The warmonger McCain lost the election to Obama in a mini landslide, 365 to 173 in the Electoral College.   

This brings me to the most critical issue of our time.  World War III has started.  The US and the UK blew up the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, according to a text message between the UK Prime Minister Truss, who served for about a month, and US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.  The US and the UK in effect “Pearl Harbored” a Russian asset and created the greatest ecological disaster in human history.  Independent reporter Seymour Hersh reveals how it was done.

Civilization is hanging in the balance.  A nuclear war could begin this year or in 2024.  In fact, World Wars I and II began in July and September 1914 and 1939, respectively.  Is history about to repeat itself?  Will the summer of 2023 or 2024 see the unthinkable—a nuclear war between Russia and a US led NATO? 

We the people can end this madness.  The antiwar movement needs a very deep pocketed pro peace billionaire who would announce immediately he/she is forming a super PAC. The super PAC would support candidates to challenge every member of Congress in the 2024 primaries who has voted for US aid to Ukraine.  And of course, we need a pro peace governor or member of Congress to “take out” Biden and another to become a GOP presidential candidate.   

In addition, a pro peace people’s super PAC should be created to supplement a billionaire’s super PAC efforts led by Ron Paul, Tulsi Gabbard, Col. Douglas McGregor and other high profile pro peace individuals.  There is too much at stake to leave to chance to end the madness in DC. 

The Declaration of Independence ended with these words, which are as relevant today when the colonists decided to break away from Great Britain, “And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.”

Let’s do the math.  We don’t have to pledge our Fortunes to defeat the War Machine.  One million Americans pledging $100 would provide a people’s super PAC with $100 million to defeat many pro war members of Congress.  Ten million pro peace Americans (at a $100 per contribution) would create a one-billion-dollar super PAC to help end the military-industrial complex.  And if a pro peace billionaire who commits his/her Fortune to drive the warmongers out of DC, bring it on!

Which billionaire will step up to the plate?  And will the American people make the necessary sacrifice to stop the unthinkable--a nuclear confrontation? 

As Albert Einstein remarked, World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones.
