Democrats Criminally Refer Kristi Noem to Justice Department For Alleged Perjury

Democrat lawmakers have criminally referred former DHS Chief Kristi Noem for “repeated false statements” during a Congressional oversight hearings.

“Senate, House Judiciary Committee leaders make criminal referral of Kristi Noem to Justice Department, following repeated false statements during Congressional oversight hearings,” Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats said.

The Trump Justice Department is unlikely to act on the criminal referral.

However, the Democrats are giving a sneak peek into what they will do if they take back the White House in 2029.

President Trump earlier this month fired Kristi Noem as DHS Chief and immediately announced that Senator Markwayne Mullin (OK) will become the next Secretary of Homeland Security effective March 31.
