Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) demonstrated on Monday why she doesn't believe Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) accidentally pulled a fire alarm in the Cannon House Office Building.
Greene is well acquainted with the ins and outs of the Cannon Building because, like Bowman, her Capitol Hill office is located there. On Monday, Greene uploaded a video from the spot where Bowman pulled the fire alarm and disputed his claims that it was an accident.
"We are at the infamous door where Jamaal Bowman claims he had to pull a fire alarm to get out. Now, these doors are open on weekdays, every member of Congress knows that, everybody that works here knows that. But on Saturdays and Sundays, they are locked, and only certain doors are open on Saturdays and Sundays.
Then, directing attention to the same fire alarm that Bowman activated, Green explained, "Nowhere does it say, 'Pull the fire alarm to open the exit door.'"
