Raging Trump doubles down with new 15% global tariff ‘effective immediately’ after fury over Supreme Court ruling

In a post on Truth Social Trump said he would be raising the 10 per cent global tariffs, announced on Friday, to 15 per cent “effective immediately”.

He said many of the countries set to be hit by the increase had been “ripping off” the US “for decades” and “without retribution”.

The outburst comes as Trump continues to rail against the Supreme Court ruling that struck down his previous import taxes.

The president slammed the ruling as “ridiculous” and “poorly written”.

And a “thorough, detailed and complete” review of the decision had been undertaken, he said.
