Trump declares Biden’s turkey pardons ‘totally INVALID’ over autopen scandal – but saves birds from dinner plate

DONALD Trump has declared Joe Biden’s final Thanksgiving turkey pardons as “invalid” after his predecessor’s infamous autopen scandal.

But the U.S President joked that he has now saved the two birds from being butchered.

First Lady Melania Trump and the Republican president arrived today for the 78th annual National Thanksgiving Turkey Presentation.

It took place in the Rose Garden of the White House in Washington, D.C.

Trump drew laughs when he referred to Biden’s signing scandal.

He has previously said that all of his predecessor’s pardons were “void and vacant” – claiming they were signed with an “autopen.”
