Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene first introduced the impeachment resolution back. In November, the House moved forward to refer articles of impeachment against Mayorkas to committee. At the time, the House did not cast a definitive vote on the legislation due to how eight Republicans voted alongside Democrats to refer the resolution to committee.
