-Source-The American DossierBy John Katz Editor- September 24 2018 This week we marked the end of summer and the beginning of Fall or Autumn as some people prefer. Depending on what Part of the country in which you live Autumn is simply to many is a time to celebrate harvest and preparation for the cold season. In our modern age it is the time of year we need to recognize the issue of mental health. World Mental Health Day is observed on the 10th of October every year with the overall objective of raising awareness of mental health issues around the world It is an unfortunate reality that mental health issues affect all parts of our country without prejudice. Perhaps this is because of the rat race of commercialism. We all need to be vigilant of our neighbors as Thanksgiving and Christmas quickly approaching. The reality for some people is that this time of year has seen a rise in mental health declination marred by the effects of depression that can lead to assorted tragedy addictions and suicide. We also are committed to the power of prayer. If you or someone you know is in need or would like to be added to a prayer list please visit nationwideprayer.org In coming weeks we will be sharing info on a special day of prayer to be held ON November 1st by them. Please continue to celebrate and keep a watchful eye on all your friends neighbors and family. If you or somebody you know is in distress and or suicidal please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline Call 1-800-273-8255 THERE IS NO SHAME in helping and praying for one another.
