(Daily Mail) Keith Griffith July 16 2019 20:25 Mexican military personnel have made an incursion into U.S. territory according to an American border official. Multiple members of the Mexican military crossed into the U.S. in the El Paso sector of western Texas at around 6.15pm ET on Tuesday said National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd on Fox Business Networks Lou Dobbs Tonight. We had several Mexican military personnel cross the Rio Grande river and come up to our fence which is about 200 yards north into the United States Judd said. He said that a Border Patrol agent responded and that most of the Mexican soldiers scattered and fled back across the border. One Mexican soldier did not make it back and was confronted by the Border Patrol agent Judd said. He said there was a minor scuffle after which the Mexican soldier fled back across the border into Mexico. Judd said he didnt believe the Mexican soldiers were armed and speculated that they might have just been looking around. A spokesman for U.S. Customs and Border Protection told DailyMail.com that he did not immediately have further information on the incident.
